Focus precious metals
Precious metals have become an indispensable part of everyday life due to their unique properties. Due to their corrosion resistance and good electrical and thermal conductivity, precious metals are used in a wide range of industries and products. For its Accelerator Program 2021, Heraeus is looking for start-ups that develop innovative solutions for new materials, production processes and recycling of precious metals or research solutions and products for catalysts, the hydrogen economy and surface treatment.
Focus semiconductor industry
Today's electronic devices must deliver more functionality with more computing power and higher speed. Module complexity is increasing while devices are getting smaller. For the Heraeus Accelerator 2021, Heraeus is looking for start-ups that develop solutions and products for advanced packaging for 5G technologies, System in Package (SiP) and mini or micro LEDs, as well as start-ups working on new solder alloys, solutions for laser welding or molding compounds.
About the Heraeus Accelerator
The Heraeus Accelerator was launched in 2019 and offers start-ups the opportunity to further develop and market their ideas and products with Heraeus. For this purpose, the start-ups have access to research laboratories, test equipment and the extensive customer and partner network of Heraeus. The goal of the Heraeus Accelerator is to build long-term collaborations with the participating start-ups. At the same time, the program offers support for challenges outside the cooperation project.
